We’re continuing to make XTru v4 faster, more flexible, and easier to use for both your team and your guests. Our August 2026 release, Version 4.26.0826, introduces a new kiosk keyboard, expands single-use promotions to memberships, brings Fast Checkout to MPOS, and includes several improvements across web sales, memberships, reporting, and portal customization.
We’re also opening customer beta access for two upcoming capabilities: Advance Sales and XTru Engage forms.
What’s new in the August release
A more seamless kiosk keyboard
Kiosks now offer an optional on-screen keyboard designed to provide guests with a cleaner, more consistent experience than the device’s default keyboard.
To turn it on, go to Kiosk Sales > Configurations and select Enable on-screen keyboard.
Single-use membership promotion codes
Single-use promotional codes are no longer limited to ticket purchases. You can now create one-time-use discount codes for membership promotions, giving your team another way to support targeted campaigns, special offers, and member acquisition efforts.
Membership discount codes must be configured as the Manual code type in Altru. For setup details, see Discounts: Single-Use Promo Codes (XTL v4).
Fast Checkout is now available for MPOS
Fast Checkout has been added to MPOS in XTru v4. Staff can complete mobile transactions without adding constituent information to the order, helping keep lines moving during busy admissions periods, events, and on-the-go sales.
Additional improvements and fixes
This release also includes:
- Discounts can now be applied correctly to event packages.
- Package details now display properly on the web calendar.
- On-sale information now displays for single-day registration package events.
- The kiosk membership-purchase experience has been streamlined for memberships with add-ons.
- Member cards are now issued correctly in Altru when memberships are purchased through XTru.
- Receipt Master Summary blocks can now display key membership details, including Send renewal to, Deliver to, Given by, and Gift message.
- Web Portal names can now be updated.
- The Refund Report has been expanded with more robust information.
- Custom-text spacing has been corrected on the Login and Create Account screens.
- Portal pages now include section and page identifiers to support more precise custom CSS styling.
- Kiosk upsells can now be created correctly.

Customer beta: Advance Sales
We’re preparing to open Advance Sales for customer beta testing.
Advance Sales gives your team a back-office workflow for creating and managing customer orders outside the standard online checkout process. It is designed for transactions that require more staff involvement, including the ability to create an order, hold inventory, send a payment link, and support partial-payment workflows.
This beta is a good fit for organizations that regularly coordinate group visits, facility or program bookings, special events, or other sales that are not completed in a single online transaction.
Interested in participating? Open a support ticket and let us know you would like to join the Advance Sales beta.
Customer beta: XTru Engage forms
We’re also opening beta access for XTru Engage forms, a flexible new way to create branded forms for donations, purchases, registrations, and other guest interactions.
Forms can be shared as standalone pages or embedded into your organization’s website, helping you create a more connected experience while giving your team greater flexibility over the information you collect and the way each campaign or offer is presented.
Interested in participating? Open a support ticket and let us know you would like to join the XTru Engage forms beta.
